For Lodge officers who are preparing for Junion Warden, Senior Warden and Master of the Lodge.  These courses provide important instruction to carry out your responsibilities including handling Lodge administration and operations, Understanding The Book of Constitutions, Lodge By-Laws, Communications, Degree Planning and creating a Trestleboard that will engage and educate members of the Lodge. 

The Structure of Grand Lodge

The 2024 Structure of the Grand Lodge Handbook, prepared by the Leadership and Educational Services Committee of the Grand Lodge of New York, outlines the organizational framework, elected and appointed offices, and operational structure of the Grand Lodge. It details the roles and responsibilities of the Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Grand Wardens, Grand Treasurer, Grand Secretary, District Deputy Grand Masters, Grand Lodge Staff Officers, and various committee members. The Master's Chair 2025

The Master’s Chair is an official instructional manual prepared by the Leadership and Educational Services Committee of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York. It serves as a comprehensive leadership and procedural guide for Worshipful Masters of constituent Lodges throughout the jurisdiction. The manual outlines the essential responsibilities, prerogatives, and expectations of the Master’s office—ranging from governance, ritual performance, Masonic law, etiquette, and communication strategies to planning Lodge programs and official visits. It includes knowledge checks, references to the Masonic Law of New York, and planning tools such as the "Your Year, Your Trestle Guide" to support a successful term in the East. The publication aims to provide both first-time and experienced Masters with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to lead their Lodge with dignity, purpose, and adherence to Masonic tradition.
